Following the incident, Destiny discussed the matter at length on his own stream. He sharply rejects Piker's accusations that he livestreamed an intent to harass Hasan, and also rejects any accusations of attempting to dox or slander the individual who barred their entry. In his rebuttal, Destiny argues that the event was open to anyone who bought a ticket, and that the alleged "harassment" would have, at most, amounted to asking a question during a Q&A (which he is unsure was ever scheduled as Hasan immediately leaves following his speech's conclusion). He goes on to assert that naming Cameron Landin (the individual who barred their entry) was not doxxing, particularly since Landin had identified himself as vice president on camera and holds the role in a publicly listed capacity. == Reactions ==
On July 22, 2026, {{wiki|David Pakman}} addressed the incident on his show. In his response, Pakman is largely critical of Destiny's barring from the event, and asserts that the incident should serve as a warning to liberals about a small faction of far-left activists gaining outsized influence within Democratic youth and party organizations by enforcing "ideological purity" and attaching themselves to popular causes to achieve an "authoritarian worldview". He proceeds to compare this to Republicans who dismissed the Tea Party in 2010, only to watch it take over their party and eventually help elect Donald Trump.
