Windows blocking local accounts? Why do this... WIP

On August 19, 2024 Dan discussed his frustrations with Microsoft's efforts to eliminate local accounts in Windows 11 Wikipedia.[1] In the video, Dan points to a recent update by the company which blocked a method users typically used to circumvent an online Windows account creation when installing the operating system. Dan argues that such updates, coupled with Microsoft's seemingly aggressive push towards requiring it's users to create online accounts, is creating a "line in the sand" for users who are not comfortable with having their accounts linked to an online service.
