wcat

wcat (pronounced wuh cat—not double-u cat) is the transformative pinnacle of modern emotes - it depicts an elegant feline prepped and ready to start any commercial, legal or international venture thrown at it. It serves a similar role to OkaygeBusiness 28x28 but takes on a slightly darker tone, representing what is often seen as the more sinister side to business (often spelled bidness when used in conjunction with the emote) despite the emote originally just being used by it's early proliferation as a way to say "let's do this."

Origins

wcat first appeared in DGG chat in a Cabge-like manner, initially only being able to be seen using a userscript. The userscript also included a rare variety of the emote, depicting the cat with dark fur and inverted suit colours.

At some point, wcat was phrase-banned on the 24th of November, 2025 to stop it's spam in chat. Later, around the beginning of 2026 the emote was officially added as an emote in DGG.

The original image of the emote comes from a spanish cat meme with the name of otag, or sometimes referred to as omlum.[1] As of currently the exact origins of this meme seem to be unknown, it is commonly believed to be a picture of a Turkish Angora. Wikipedia The emote itself is a reference to the Brazilian business cat meme.
