Ben Burgis is a socialist political commentator who has written several books as well as being a regular columnist for Jacobin and The Daily Beast. He also hosts his own live show, Give Them An Argument w/ Ben Burgis.

First Debate - June 1st 2019
In their first interaction, Burgis called into Destiny's stream to have a debate on whether or not socialist reform would be positive in the United States[1].
Second Debate - October 4th 2019
Later that year, Lance of TheSerfsTV moderated a debate between the two on whether rent control is a morally and/or pragmatically effective solution to housing crises[2].
Third Debate - June 25th 2024
Years later, Destiny and Burgis participated in a debate on the ModernDayDebate channel about their views on the Israel/Palestine conflict[3].
Pizza Tactics

In March 2021, following a debate Destiny had with Michael Albert about socialism, Ben Burgis participated in a review of the debate with several others. This would lead to another participant, Brenton Lengel, claiming that Destiny eating pizza during the debate was an intentional and malicious debate tactic designed to distract the audience while Albert was speaking[4]. Chat would later coin the term/meme 'pizza tactics' in response to this.
