In September 2024, Tenet Media 
—a U.S. media company that Lauren and her husband founded—was accused of spreading Russian propaganda after an unsealed Department of Justice (DOJ) indictment revealed that a company roughly matching the description of Tenet Media was used as a tool by two Russian Nationals to launder money and promote the aforementioned propaganda.[1][2]
