A Lefty is a slang term used to describe someone who is politically left wing, almost always referring to someone who embraces ideologies such as (but not restricted to) Communism, 
Socialism, or sometimes Social-Democracy; and is sometimes used by American Conservatives to describe American Social Liberalism.
