The Nebraska Arc was a period from 2011 to 2016 during Destiny's initial years as one of the first full-time streamers. This Arc was characterized by aggressiveness, edginess, and hostility towards Destiny's interlocutors, and when Destiny exhibits these characteristics in contemporary settings, he is referred to as "Nebraska Steve," or is said to be "going Nebraska Steve." During this time, Destiny was also a professional StarCraft II Wikipedia player, ending his professional career sometime in 2012 to shift focus to other games, like League of Legends Wikipedia and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. DDoS Kid

Jun 29, 2011 ∙ Destiny calling DDoS kid - Starcraft 2

Destiny has a conversation with the DDoS kid, as he had been getting DDoSed through the voice call and instant messaging application Skype. Destiny was extremely frustrated as this was before effective anti-DDoS strategies existed and it would cause Destiny to lose out on significant portions of his income. The situation continues to spark controversy as Destiny states had contemplated killing him as he had tried contacting the local police, FBI, the child's father, and with no reprise.[1]

He also contemplated having the kid on Judge Judy and submitted a civil court case.

Eventually, Destiny would resolve the conflict with the DDoS kid by publishing his own guide on DDoS protection.
