For a second we both froze—propped up on our arms, breathing hard, eyes locked like we were playing a deranged game of capture the flag. Then we bolted. Steven scrambled forward just as my hand slapped the floor, landing inches short. Lauren Southern is a Canadian conservative activist, author, filmmaker, political commentator, and live streamer, best known for her controversial documentaries—Farmlands and Borderless.
In 2022 she was nominated for the Frenemy of the Year Award, receiving 12.6% of the vote, as well as the Debate of the Year in 2019, with only 3.2% of the vote.
In 2025, Lauren Southern released the book This Is Not Real Life, where she describes behind-the-scenes from her political carrier. In one part she talks about trying to stop Destiny from tweeting about the assassination attempt of Donald Trump.[1]
