Emma Vigeland

Emma Vigeland is a co-host of The Majority Report with Sam Seder.

Born in the humble township of Glen Ridge, NJ, sometime between 1990 and 1995, Vigeland showed promise at an early age. Blazing through an independent all-girls college, Vigeland went on to make a name for herself at the "Hidden Ivy" university of Lafayette College. While securing an Honors degree in Government & Law, Vigeland was a prominent member of the Lafayette Political Science Honor Society and completed numerous internships across a range of public offices, building a network of contacts from the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs to the office of Senator Kirsten Gilibrand [1].

2016 saw a 20-year old Vigeland, disillusioned with the mainstream political institutions, turn her prodigious talents to the alternative media. Setting her sights on The Young Turks (TYT) Network, she progressed at record pace from intern to permanent member, swiftly becoming the most recognisable on-location reporter the network had to offer. Vigeland played a key role in assessing and communicating the post-2016 political landscape.

In 2019, while attending the SALT conference at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Vigeland gave an interview that laid the foundation for the political movement that would later become Omniliberalism.
