Kyla, known online as notsoErudite (usually shortened to Erudite or abbreviated to NSE), is a live streamer and YouTuber who frequently interacted with Destiny on stream. Her content often focuses on the field of Psychology, gender, science, and political commentary.
In September 2023, the Bridges Podcast was announced by notsoErudite as a podcast that she and Destiny would be hosting together. The two hosted Bridges together until January 2025.[1]
On September 26th, 2025 Erudite participated in an interview with Jesse Lee Peterson, in which she was asked if she would rather have Donald Trump or Justin Trudeau as President. She was slow to answer, claiming that they were "both so corrupt", and answered "with a gun to my head, probably Trudeau".
Her tone and response to the question sparked multiple reddit threads[1][2] questioning her ideology and understanding of the political climate in the US, with some stating that she should be excised from orbit.

Confronting Destiny Live at an Unfuck America Tour Event
On September 18th, 2025 Destiny hosted a live event called "Prove Me Wrong" with the Unfuck America Tour, shortly after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The purpose of the event was to debate MAGA and right wing supporters on Trump and other issues. This event came shortly after Destiny's controversial statements on a Piers Morgan panel where he stated that he would not disavow political violence until Donald Trump did so first.
During the event, Erudite confronted Destiny herself on his position he stated in his Piers Panel. This confrontation created a substantial backlash in the community[4], with members questioning the time and place for Erudite to be expressing these disagreements.
The amount of reddit threads criticizing her, as well as others who are tangential to Destiny, prompted subreddit moderator Hobbitfollower to make a post addressing the community's reaction.
