In 2019, the streamer Stella Chuu did an episode of her Stella Transforms series with Destiny, where she helps other content creators make and dress up in cosplay. Destiny ended up cosplaying Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop, which he would shave his beard for. Shavedstiny refers to his clean-shaven look as part of his cosplay[1].
Prior to this memorable event, Destiny's clean-shaven look, or "Shavedstiny," had only made two brief appearances. The first instance occurred sometime between 2010 and 2015, during which Destiny also provided a demonstration of how his chin appeared without the beard.[2] The second occurrence was in 2015, during a League of Legends streaming session with Hafu, with only one video recording remaining from that moment.[3]
