Twitch is an American streaming service. Destiny streamed on twitch for several years until his eventual ban.
Destiny's twitch bans
On February 14, 2017, Destiny was banned for three days following his usage of the "n-word" on stream. Of note, Destiny used the racial slur in order to convey an argument against uneducated individuals utilizing "common sense" to come up with conclusions on validity of transgendered individuals. While saying the racial slur, Destiny was attempting to convey that individuals may make the same conclusions about racism or sexism using "common sense". [1] [2]
On September 11, 2020, Destiny was de-partnered over the infamous "mowing down dipshit protesters" clip on September 11, 2020. Destiny additionally says that it is unlikely that he will be re-partnered as the de-partnering was from the legal team of twitch, rather than the moderation team.[3]
On March 23, 2022, Destiny was banned indefinitely from Twitch for violating Twitch's hateful conduct policy.[4] While no official reason has been given yet, it is speculated that Destiny's use of the word "subhuman" when referring to the terminally-online trans Twitter community is responsible for the ban.
