Second Meeting

A term dubbed by Destiny during the Baldur's Gate Incident, a second meeting refers to an informal gathering that occurs after an official meeting (referred to as the 'first meeting'). This second meeting is typically held by individuals within a group, often those who are more critical or antagonistic towards management or leadership. The purpose of this gathering is not to communicate directly with management, but rather to discuss grievances among a subset of the group. During the second meeting, participants may express discontent and rally support against leadership, focusing on the "real" issues. Notably, these "real" issues will typically never be brought to light during a first meeting and will more often than not sow the seeds for anti-fan groups to form in the content creator and/or influencer world. Destiny claims to have witnessed instances of "second meetings" during his time working at a casino, playing EVE Online, and throughout dramas involving Kelly Jean, and Lav.

"A second meeting is where... you have your first meeting, management gets together with employees... you got your first meeting, you know, people say things whatever. Then you have second meeting. Second meeting is usually headed by a more antagonistic employee, someone who doesn't like management, and then they get together, they start talking shit about all the "real" problems, they basically galvanize a whole bunch of support against management... They never actually bring up these concerns up to management, they never bring any of this up in first meeting, but in the second meeting they always have all this shit to say... These are kind of like how in the entertainment or influencer world or whatever the fuck, these are how anti-fan groups form... I think there are people, like Lav and Kelly Jean, tend towards this, and maybe this isn't objectively like a bad or good thing, but where if a conversation doesn't go okay on stream or in a public area, then they kind of work in the background to massage and massage and massage... kind of like this compulsive reputation tweaking in the background until they got everybody on their side again."
