  • Destiny originally signed a 3 month deal with Kick in March of 2023 as a test-trial with 8 Kick-exclusive streams a month. [1]
  • In late June/July of 2023, after the first Kick deal trial run, Destiny re-signed a year deal with Kick [2], getting rid of DGG chat on-screen and showing Kick chat instead, disabling DGG BigScreen automatic embed feature, but managing to retain non-exclusive streaming privileges, huge for YouTube streams. It's also possible, but not confirmed, that a Kick-exclusive gameshow was part of the contract, or part of the spirit of the contract, and that's why the abominations known as Kick or Keep and the spawn of Quiznos came to haunt DGG's existence.
