TF
—also known as trollface
—is an emote depicting a black-and-white character with a cartoonishly evil smile. The emote is taken from the rage comics
of the early 2010s and is most commonly used to indicate that a chatter or someone on screen (Destiny or a guest) is knowingly expressing an opinion/fact they know to be incorrect, typically to induce feelings of rage/anger, known as trolling.
Rare Variants
Similar to glorp and WEOW, the trollface emoji also has rare variants based on the last digits of the messages Unix timestamp.
Unlike glorp and WEOW, the trollface rare variants do not consist of tiered recolors, instead showing mischievous modifications to the emote/message.
