Asmongold, also known as Zackrawrr, Asmon, as well as various nicknames involving the word "bald", is an American live streamer known for being a prolific World of Warcraft Wikipedia streamer (among other MMORPGs Wikipedia), his disgusting room, and penchant for Two-dollar steaks.

Asmongold interacted with Destiny on several occasions when Destiny was still streaming on Twitch, typically this would occur on the many podcasts hosted on the platform such as the Rajj Royale Podcast hosted by Austin Show (then Rajj Patel) and the Trainwrecks Podcast hosted by Trainwreckstv.

  • Known for playing World of Warcraft despite the fact he doesn't actually play the game (instead launching only to AFK farm or get carried through content by his audience).

  • Gave his mom unfettered access to cigarettes to the point she lit part of her room on fire after smoking near her oxygen machine (which she needed after developing COPD Wikipedia due to her excessive smoking habits). He continued to buy her cigarettes until her eventual death. Asmongold personally blames himself for her death, stating that he was never able to successfully convince her to quit smoking.[1][2]
  • Got banned for a week after saying Palestinians came from an "inferior culture." After feigning a political reset, he would publicly apologize, saying "I said that I didn't care about innocent people getting killed by another force [Israel]—by anything—and I think that that's a horrible, disgusting, mean-spirited thing to say."[3] later adding, "I've been slowly devolving into the most ... mean-spirited, rude, nasty, callous, psychopathic version of myself."[4] A year later, he would continue to cheer on the mass, violent, and sweeping deportations in the US, and laugh at the death of Renee Nicole Goodman and the brutality of DHS Agents utilizing tear gas, pepper balls, and physical violence against protestors.[5]

Asmongold states there should be no migration and no acceptance of refugees. Makes an exception for Europeans.[7]

Asmongold holds a hardline stance against illegal (and in some cases legal) immigration. He supports mass deportations, a strict border control, and has frequently advocated for harsher legal measures against undocumented immigrants, including the use of military force at the border and the deportation of non-citizens for minor crimes.[8][9][10][11][12] Furthermore, Asmongold favors curbing legal immigration by imposing English language requirements, ending birthright citizenship, and halting refugee resettlement programs.[13][14]

As part of the Trump administration's sweeping deportation efforts during his second presidency, ICE agents have been increasingly involved in violent confrontations with migrants and US citizens as part of the agency's shift to more aggressive immigration enforcement.[16] On January 6, DHS announced what it called the largest immigration enforcement operation ever carried out, sending 2,000 agents to the Minneapolis–Saint Paul Wikipedia metropolitan area. The surge included Homeland Security Investigations officers focused on suspected fraud.

On January 7, 2026, Renée Good, a 37-year-old American citizen, was fatally shot in Minneapolis, Wikipedia Minnesota, by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Wikipedia (ICE) agent Jonathan Ross.[17] Good was in her car, stopped sideways in the street when Ross drove around it and then walked back and around her vehicle. Other agents approached, and one ordered her to get out of the car while reaching through her open window. Good briefly reversed, then began moving forward and to the right, into the direction of traffic. At this point, Ross was standing at the front-left of the vehicle and fired three shots, killing her, as her vehicle passed him, turning away from him. The killing sparked national protests and multiple investigations.

Asmongold's Position

Asmongold believes the shooting of Renee Nicole to be justified, claiming she was a "deranged leftist" in the act of obstructing justice.[18][19][20] He argues she was in fact the one who escalated on the officer, asserting that anyone labeling the incident as a “murder” are misrepresenting what occurred and that the woman’s actions in moving her vehicle toward the ICE agent justified the use of deadly force.[21]

With regards to the overarching situation with ICE in Minnesota, Asmongold holds the belief that ICE cannot pull out of Minneapolis/Minnesota as it would “quadruple” the amount of protests and embolden further outrage.[22]

Killing of Alex Pretti

On January 24, 2026, Alex Jeffrey Pretti,[23] a 37-year-old intensive care nurse for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, was shot multiple times and killed Wikipedia by United States Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The incident occurred amid widespread protests against Operation Metro Surge, Wikipedia following the killing of Renée Good on January 7 by a United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent.

Video recordings of the incident showed Pretti filming law enforcement agents with his phone and directing traffic. He stood between an agent and a woman whom the agent had pushed to the ground, placing his arm around the woman in an apparent attempt to protect her.[24] Pretti was subsequently pepper-sprayed and wrestled to the ground by several federal agents, with approximately six agents surrounding him when he was shot and killed.[25][26][27]

Bystander video verified and reviewed by Reuters, the BBC, The Wall Street Journal, and the Associated Press appears to show an agent removing a firearm from Pretti and moving away from him approximately one second before another agent fired the first shot.[28][29][30] The Associated Press reported that a voice can be heard shouting “gun, gun” immediately before the first shot was fired.[31]

Pretti was legally licensed to carry a handgun.[32] However, in reviewing video evidence, Reuters, the BBC, The New York Times, CNN, and The Guardian all concluded that Pretti was holding a cell phone, not a firearm, in the moments before he was tackled by agents.[33] Agents appear to have fired at least ten shots within approximately five seconds, beginning while Pretti was pinned to the ground and continuing after he collapsed and lay motionless.[34][35][36]

In contrast to his belief regarding Renee Nicole, Asmongold believes the killing of Alex Pretti to be unjustified, arguing that if Pretti was truly unarmed and not posing a lethal threat at the time he was shot, then there "literally [is] no excuse for it".[37] Asmongold caveats that while he is a "big supportter of ICE" and wishes to "deport every single alien from the country", ICE and the agents involved, still need to take accountability for what occurred.

While reviewing footage on stream, Asmongold initially questioned whether Pretti was armed, but went on to acknowledge that the object in Pretti’s hand appeared to be a firearm.[38]

Asmongold would go on to claim that Democrats, like Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Wikipedia stood to politically benefit from further deaths in Minnesota tied to ICE. Going so far as to claim that Governor Walz was likely hoping for more of his citizens to die at the hands of ICE agents, as it would lead to more sympathy and outrage that could help Democratic politicians in public perception and media coverage. [39]

Asmongold's maintains that the "best system" for government is a 60/40 split of capitalism to socialism.[40] He is staunchly a capitalist, supportive of economic regulation, believes in progressive taxation, is distrustful of unregulated corporate power, and is supportive of state(not corporate) welfare.[41][42][43][44][45][46]

Position on Tariffs in the second Trump administration

During his second term as President of the United States, Donald Trump Wikipedia enacted a series of steep tariffs Wikipedia affecting nearly all goods imported into the country.[47] Upon hearing of these tariffs, Asmongold stated that while the tariffs were chaotic and poorly planned, they will eventually "work in the end".[48][49]
