Tom "Turkey Tom" Swanson is an American YouTuber who centers around commentary, internet culture, and criticism of online figures. Tom is a frequent guest of Destiny's streams, often to discuss controversial political or social issues; topical internet-centric news; or to recommend content to Destiny. He is a frequent Guest on Anything Else? and was a guest host for the last episode of the now cancelled Kick or Keep as well as a frequent guest on the show.
History
Pyrocynical Allegations
In 2020, a now deleted twitter account—Ivory Rasmus (@IIovebird)—alleged that YouTuber Pyrocynical had groomed him and sent sexually explicit images while he was 15 years-old, Pyrocynical was 19 years-old.
Turkey Tom made several videos on the subject and was highly critical of Pyrocynical. Sentiment was generally mixed or negative after Pyrocynical was largely seen to have vindicated himself in response to the initial twitlonger and subsequent twitlonger posted by the alleged victim.[1]
Turkey Tom's response video to that was heavily disliked presumably because he doubled down on the allegations against Pyrocynical.
Tom said as recently as 2022 in an interview with Brittany Venti that he will never apologize to Pyrocynical, as he does not believe he has said anything inaccurate about the situation.[2]
