Atlasesque: I can kill you on sight every time

In 2016, Destiny was enjoying the game: The Division alongside a group of chatters, including MrMouton, Atlasesque, and Dunebug. The group eventually went into the 'Dark Zone', an area that allows for PvP. After Atlas killed a friendly, despite being told not to, Dunebug decided to throw a spanner in the works by messing with Atlas for the chat's entertainment. After the pair had killed eachother a single time each, the group paused for a few friendly 1v1s with eachother. Following this, Atlas got so paranoid when they were standing around that just looking in his direction caused him to down Dunebug, who responded by killing Atlas after he was picked up. During this intense moment, Atlasesque confidently declared, "I guess I can just kill you on sight every time, if you want, I can do that" effectively issuing a challenge to Dunebug.[1]

Dunebug embraced the challenge, and just a few minutes later the pair faced off in a 1v1, where Dunebug killed Atlas and mockingly uttered "I can kill you on sight, every time." Atlas quickly responded with various excuses of running out of ammo, not having a 'pulse' and that he didn't know where he was as a result. A series of repeated victories followed for Dunebug over Atlasesque, despite Atlasesque's earlier boast. What made this encounter even more entertaining was Atlasesque's growing frustration throughout the exchange. Destiny and MrMouton couldn't help but laugh and cheer them on from the sidelines, adding to the fun and excitement of the moment. Enhanced by the particularly heavy laughter of Deathcon92 in the voice chat. The event was particularly notable for Atlas' heavy use of the f-slur against Dunebug & MrMouton.

Aftermath

This event in combination with later events in the DGG Minecraft server involving Atlas cheating to find Diamonds, led to him losing a lot of reputation in the community.
He also had quite the bad blood with Dunebug, making it known in the chat.[2]
Going as far to privately messaging Dunebug (who put together and uploaded the video of the event) to try to get the video taken down, with a threat of DMCA to assist that.[3]
