DGG is an acronym referring to the website and chat from which it derives its name, Destiny.gg, colloquially used to represent the entire audience of Destiny.
DGG is often used synonymously with the Daliban, but they are actually different groups. In order to be part of the Daliban you must be part of DGG, while being a DGGer might not necessarily mean one is in the Daliban. The Daliban is a group of highly motivated DGGers, used for surgical operations. You can think of DGG as the Army, and the Daliban as the "special" forces.
