On November 9, 2025, Hasan Piker flew to China for what would become a widely criticized propaganda tour, during which time he provided uncritical praise for the country's political and economic systems while downplaying its authoritarian practices and human rights abuses.
The Portal problem is a hypothetical physics question asking how a cube would react to a portal (from the video game series Portal
) being slammed down onto it from above. Option A shows the cube plopping to the floor with little energy, while option B shows it being launched vertically through the air. The problem produced lengthy, repeated debates within DGG, with chatters, orbiters, and even Destiny and Dan landing on opposite sides.
