Hasan Piker's Use of 'Inbred' in Reference to Jews

Twitch, a streaming service, 
holds explicit guidelines relating to acceptable behavior for streamers both on and off the platform. Among these guidelines, includes a section explicitly forbidding hateful conduct, especially behavior that promotes or encourages discrimination against individuals of several protected characteristics. Among these protected characteristics includes religion. Despite this, Twitch streaming partner Hasan Piker has routinely referred to individuals of the Jewish faith as inbred , all the while maintaining his status as one of the most preeminent political streamers on the platform.[2]
Inconsistent enforcement of Twitch's policy
On March 22, 2022 Destiny, a former twitch streamer, was banned from Twitch for violations of their hateful conduct policy. This hateful conduct involved referring to a protected group in the LGBT community as inbred.[3] Destiny is banned to this day as a result of these remarks. This ban stands in stark contrast to Piker's continued presence on Twitch, despite his references towards individuals of a protected religious class as inbred.
