Change Controversial/Banned Chatters section

So do yall think we should change the "Controversial/Banned Chatters" section? A decent chunk of notable chatters are controversial, should it instead be made into a section of chatters that are just no longer in chat ? Permanently or long term banned chatters & chatters who just dont chat anymore would make sense. Or we could just move all chatters that have a controversy surrounding them into that category and the notable chatters can just be like a positive category --Rin 1:02, 29 August 2023 (EST)

Remove Normal Chatters

This seems like something that is a cute meme, but ultimately doesn't belong, probably should prevent people from remaking this section. Adding yourself to the chatters list is also probably not a great thing, unless the chatter themself is reasonably known.--Rin 10:17, 29 August 2023 (EST)

I added a small section at the bottom for this reason. Should be fine with a collapsed list of chatters. --SecretMan01 (talk) 12:24, 17 September 2023 (UTC)

Change CCC Group

I would like it if the CCC was just a subsection of notable chatters (since the CCC is literally just a subsection of notable chatters), but that would mess up the pretty formatting to add the "===" header, making it so you cant collapse sections for some reason (im stupid let me know if this can be avoided). Maybe making a tag system for types of chatters would make sense? It could be real flairs, as well as YEE vs P*PE, CCC status, Conductor status, Puzzler, nsfw poster/spammer etc. --Rin 10:26, 29 August 2023 (EST)

Chatters and Infamy

Something else that should be looked out for is chatters possibly schizo posting ironically or something just to get on the wiki page, I doubt this will become an issue but something to keep an eye out for in case chat becomes too focused on this page. It might lead to this just being a page needing to be heavily protected/monitored --Rin 10:29, 29 August 2023 (EST)

Change "Mod/Devs" to something more encompassing of "DGG Employees"

The first section feels like it should include not only unpaid jannies but also all paid and unpaid "employees" of DGG. It's notably missing Qorantos and August. Any contentions against this? I'm thinking changing the title to something like "Mods, Developers and Employees". Noonyaaz (talk) 04:32, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

This seems like a good idea, it makes sense to not have them in the regular chatters section as they aren't really known as chatters first and foremost as long as they have chatted I think it should be fine to add them. --Rin 15:53, 16 September 2023 (EST)

Chatters who don't want to be included

Chatters such as zlxb don't wish to be included in the wiki, how should we handle stuff like that? It doesn't seem like a great rule to exclude anyone who doesn't want to be documented as it seems like we probably wouldn't have permission from a lot of antagonist chatters and more broadly, people who have appeared on the stream. For now I have removed him simply because its better to have the entry gone while we sort out what ought to be done about such requests. If anyone has a good idea on how this should typically handled I'd appreciate it. --Rin 01:08, 18 September 2023 (EST)

I don't know if the wiki should bow down to information removal requests unless its specially banned, harms the person or the information does not belong on a page. The thing is zlxb is a notable chatter, as they are the most popular movie streamer. Is zlxb trying to conceal their identity and doesn't was a record of their account? This might be a question for one of the moderators because I can see how not removing people from the wiki might make a bad vibe. I checked the Rules to see if there's anything relevant to this situation and it just says not to post any personal information about a person that's obtained outside of the DGG universe, so I'm stumped. --SecretMan01 (talk) 06:05, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

Classic trope "This is why we can't have nice things." If you as a chatter read something you don't like in regards to yourself or another page, reach out to an available moderator and they will remove it at their discretion. Don't want people asking their friends(or anyone else) to remove their entry on a whim. If you see an entry being removed and you don't know why or don't agree, you can ask the person but otherwise a moderator should rule on it staying or being removed. —Tape 2:50, 18 September 2023 (EST)
