Trickman185, better known as Awooga (stylized AWOOGA) in the context of DGG, was a chatter who is characterized by his energetic behavior often described as being tsundere-like. In the summer of 2023, Awooga would frequently chat with Destiny via viewer call-ins. Awooga had paid for a Tier V subscription so that he could more readily speak with Destiny.

Awooga was generally seen within DGG as someone who was possibly a troll, with many DGGers speculating that he was a Groyper plant to make progressives look stupid. The community generally had mixed reactions, with some expressing adoration and others saying he provided a good example of a low-information high-conviction leftie. The public opinion surrounding him could best be summarized by one chatter, "I love to hate this guy."

Awooga recieved 8th place (6.23%) for the 2023 Neurodivergent of the Year Award. His Discord avatar would frequently rotate between different anime and video-game characters.

An X (formerly known as Twitter) account attributed (1| 2) to him (@jonathanother1) no longer exists. Awooga also stated he had a twitch accounter under the name Trickman185 that is similarly inactive. He also shouted himself out several times on Destiny's stream to his Twitch and YouTube channels, both Trickman185. You can find an archived version of his YouTube here.

Feb 2, 2023 · Destiny Runs Into Surprise Rittenhouse Debate

Destiny is cornered by Awooga in the Discord-call in channel, and confronted on his Kyle Rittenhouse stance. Awooga states that he thinks Kyle Rittenhouse deserved the scorn he received as he killed 2 people, but concedes that Rittenhouse was at the least legally justified as he was given a not guilty verdict in the case. Destiny and Awooga clash on the details of the case, but Awooga ultimately states that he wants to re-approach the topic at a later date as he hasn't read much of the case.

Awooga asks Destiny if he actually thinks he is autistic (he cites an earlier conversation with Aella in which Destiny self-identifies as most likely being autistic). Destiny states that he thinks he is and 4THOT comments that he has been playing Factorio on stream non-stop). Awooga points out that he never had difficulties with socialization as a child, and says Destiny should take a test, however Destiny says he wont as he thinks he could receive a diagnosis by purposefully answering in a way that would secure a diagnosis.

Awooga talks to Destiny about Destiny's stance on deplatforming on social media, Awooga saying he thinks Destiny's engagement with far-right normalizes their rhetoric and that deplatforming is an appropriate step to take to mitigate the public's exposure to far-right rhetoric. Destiny argues that the deplatforming strengthens the rhetoric of conservatives and doesn't allow the public to be exposed to far-right ideas that they might otherwise need to confront, as well as having a "principled attachment to the idea of freedom of speech."

Awooga calls in to give Destiny a reality check, telling him that he called David Pakman far-left. Destiny agrees that he called Pakman far-left, but would ascribe that label to himself as well, and did not use the word as a pejorative. Awooga digresses and says that Destiny and Pakman are moderate-left, as they don't support things like a $15 minimum wage or healthcare as a right. The conversation appears to get stuck between the two disagreeing on the deliniation between far-left and fringe-left, with Destiny saying most policies (such as those aforementioned) that Progressives advocate for would be considered radical for many Americans.

The two then go on too discuss a similar paradigm, with Awooga calling figures like Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, and Candace Owens far-right. Destiny disagrees and states that they are not as politically fringe as Awooga portrays them.

They then go on to discuss the 2016 Democratic Party Primaries and Bernie Sanders' campaign getting "rigged" and subject to "dirty tactics." Awooga continues to argue that Bernie should not have been sabotaged given he was the most popular single candidate, while Destiny argues that Bernie's support during the early primary belies the fact more moderate positions are preferred.

Awooga thinks the average Awooga says he wouldn't call Destiny left-wing. Nearing the end of the conversation, Awooga requests that Destiny add him on Discord in this highly clippable moment as he is afraid that he will get banned again by the "super unhinged" DGG Discord moderators, and thus needs to send Destiny a Discord friend request.

Jun 22, 2023 · Demanding Destiny Apologize To Hasan

Awooga calls in and tells Destiny he needs to apologize to Hasan, saying that he gives frequent and unfavorable coverage of Hasan as well as never commenting on positive notable events that Hasan participates in. Destiny says he won't apologize.

Awooga says that Destiny doesn't acknowledge that Progressives have made substantial progress in mainstream politic, citing the large number of people who currently support transgender people in society. Destiny says he disagrees and thinks most progressives are currently pushing for HRT for minors.

Awooga tells Destiny he should play cooler games like Legend of Zelda instead of Factorio and Diablo 4.

A chatter named Lendarios joins the call to call out Awooga, saying people on the Destiny subreddit were advocating for what he perceived as extreme aspects of transgender rights advocacy like putting transgender minors under the care of the state. Awooga disagrees with the argument put forwards saying it's a small minority of individuals that advocate for such a radical position and that Lendarios should "touch grass." The two then quibble over the "Don't Say Gay" Bill.

July 17th, 2023 · Awooga purity tests Destiny

Awooga speaks with Destiny, and immediately starts running down the list of most controversial memes, including the DDoS kid, Nick Fuentes (specifically the chicken and waffles incident), as well as him abandoning his son, and calling him a cuck.
