jstlk (pronounced jizz-tickle, just-talk, j-stalk, J-S-T-L-K or whatever else you want) is a DGG chatter with the highest naturally occurring number of Destiny mentions, and host of an after-hours, DGG-centric, typically-drama stream.

jstlk played as Winston and Reinhardt on Overwatch and climbed the ranks behind other Canadian players such as Surefour (DPS main) and xQc (Tank). For comparison: xQc was often placed top 50 in his region playing Winston, while Jstlk hovered around top 100.

His avatar is a cartoon picture of the late Bogdanoff Twins.

History

In December of 2023, he started streaming to provide afterhours content for DGG, and has recently exploded in popularity, with over 2k subs on YouTube and livestreams averaging 300-500 concurrent, with his view count spiking whenever Destiny joins a stream.

Embeds in DGG Chat generally don't equate to active chatters on their respective platforms but jstlk, with help from others, has managed to pull in an audience of engaging chatters to his YouTube, Kick, and Discord chatrooms.

Drama and controversies

Tomtent

Starting February 2nd 2024—TOMTENT (a portmanteau of "Tom" and "Content")—refers to the drama that was started initially from jstlk memeing that Tom Foolery was a sex pest. Though it was an unserious meme at first, Tom's behavior throughout the extent of the drama seemed to prove out that the meme was closer to reality than previously thought.

Coom Time, is when Tom would goon with his viewers over women's Instagram/Twitter in a creepy way. The women usually were in the political space and not presenting their content sexually when Tom would go into goon mode.

February 3rd, 2024, on jstlk's stream, Mantis (one of Tom's chat moderatprs) defended his honor. During this stream Tom would send some unhinged messages at Kelly Jean in the YouTube chat.

February 4th, 2024, Stardust would try to defend Tom. Later that day Tom went live to try to defend himself, but at the end of his stream he had accidentally leaked a nude of Mantis.

February 5th, 2024 jstlk would go onto one of WhickTV's panels to hash it out with Tom, Mantis, Brittany Simon, Seven and Kelly Jean.

Stalkergate

Due to the uncommon pairing of letters in jstlk's name, once he began his own stream, chatters ended up creating several nicknames to make it easier to say. jstlk's previous admission of consistently watching Nick Fuentes' streams and complimenting him for his intelligence (though never explicitly agreeing with particular controversial policies of Nick's) had lead to a community perception of him being a groyper and referring to him as the 'jew stalker.'

On the 18th of May 2024, due to a Hasan stream where he had referenced jstlk's position in the DGG community and negatively mentioned his affinity for Fuentes, jstlk called in to an episode of Anything Else? to scold Dan for a previous promise Dan had made to not use the 'jew stalker' nickname. Wanting to clean up his image, jstlk had previously asked Dan to disavow any references to jstlk 'being a groyper' and the 'jew stalker' label.

After pushback from Dan, jstlk then attempted to blackmail him, saying:

Every single day that I am called jew stalker, groyper, nazi in DGG chat or on the reddit (and I'll be checking)... every single day that it happens, I'll link- I'll leak one random detail of what we were talking about earlier last month, okay? So I'm just incentivising you to clean it up.

Jstlk would continue this crusade in DGG chat, leaking the Patreon revenue split of the Anything Else? show and lobbing further threats.

As of the 19th of May, Dan and jstlk appear to be on good terms.

Baldur's Gate Incident

A complex piece of drama between Kelly Jean, jstlk, Ahrelevant and Wolfgand, as well as later involving Chaeiry. The group had a conflict involving pre-existing bad blood between Ahrelevant and Kelly Jean, as well as the group alleging that Kelly was consistently acting against the group's wider interests.

Kelly and Chaeiry would go on to exchange personal comments in jstlk's public discord chat, eventually leading to an on-stream argument between the two, with Kelly leaving the server after criticism from jstlk, Wolfgand and Ahrelevant regarding comments she had made towards Chaeiry and her behavior towards the three.

Kelly then would go on to blackmail jstlk, saying in private discord messages that she would "drop all information [she] know[s] that [he has] told [her]" if jstlk were to continue to "shit talk or allow shit talk about [her]," and suggest "cleaning up the discord." Jstlk would respond to her by telling her to "just leak everything."
