Flair

Flairs are a visual incentive handed out to chatters who give their hard-earned money and/or time to Destiny. Some flairs provide an icon next to the name, a colored name, both, or neither.

List of currently active Flairs

Extra flairs are introduced in the chat to indicate a chatter's specific position or experience. These flairs are sorted in order of display importance (Higher up = more priority; i.e. will overwrite color):

Micro	Micro flair for Micro Dan.
Admin	For the big man. Formerly was given to Dan and Cake until the great Dan-4THOT-Kelly fight of 2024.
Moderator	Given to the Moderators of DGG Chat (with the frequent inclusion of JaydrVerdana).
Emote Master	Flair for emote masters, cyver (formerly cybervegan), Igor [Rustle] and PRSEK.
Subscriber Tier 5	The highest subscriber tier that you can buy for Destiny.gg. -80
NFL Andy	Flair for renowned chatter Taybor Pepper.
Verified	Formerly used for people who were Verified Partners/Affiliates on Twitch. Now is used to denote certain people who work for Destiny (e.g. r/Destiny Mods, etc.) or otherwise notable people that play an important role during Destiny's streaming career. Formerly given to Moderators of the Destiny Wiki.
Broadcaster	Flair for other streamers or personal friends of the stream.
Subscriber Tier 1 · Tier 2 · Tier 3 · Tier 4	Given for subscribing to Destiny's website.
Lore Master	Given to the Moderators of the Destiny Wiki and to people who manage the LWOD Spreadsheet
Contributor	Given to chatters who have contributed to Destiny.gg. Whether that be through emote creation, event management, etc.
Subscriber	No icon. Subscriber flair separate from the tiered subscriber flairs.
Bot	Unique flair for one of the chat's favorite clankers.
Community Bot	Flair provided to community bots like RandomFerret [Rustle] and Emotes [Rustle].
Conductor	Given to the official DGG chat conductors.
DGG Developer	Flair for developers of Destiny.gg and other Destiny.gg LLC projects.
Medical Professional	Flair given to medical professionals (and sometimes medical students).
New User	Given to new users in DGG. Helps more easily distinguish newer accounts which may be trolls/new to the community.
TikTok Editor	Icon has been removed. Reserved for the editor of Destiny's TikTok page, Vertalli [Rustle].
Trusted	Given to people who post reliable and relevant information/links in chat for Destiny to see.
Gym	Given to chatters who have knowledge of the gym and fitness in general, the motivation behind the flair was that Destiny wanted to know who to listen to when it came to specific input and advice about the gym and fitness. The current criteria to obtaining a gym flair is to showcase proof that you have joined the 1000 Pound Club.
Lawyer	Given to chatters who are verified lawyers. This flair was created to get better input and discussion relating to law.
Law Enforcement	Handed to chatter's in the field or those with prior experience in law enforcement.
YouTube Editor	Given to Destiny's editors that contribute to the YouTube channel.
YT Contributor	Icon has been removed.
DGG Shirt Designer	Given to people who make/manage DGG related merchandise. Formerly given to MrGemzar.
Birthday	Given to chatters temporarily on the day that their DGG account was created.
Protected	Protects users from most negative/disciplinary actions (e.g. mute for linkspam, posting banned/nuked phrases, protection from most mutes/bans).
Team YEE · Team PEPE	A member of Team YEE or PEPE. Given to chatters to show their team pride during the 2025 YEE vs PEPE olympics.

Subscribers are given a colored name in chat, with different colors for each tier.

In the past, subscribers were given an icon too, but this was removed in September 2024 after the somewhat controversial Destiny.gg rebranding and site-redesign that reduced the total number of chat flairs with icons.

Anything Else Flairs

Flairs formerly given to subscribers of the Anything Else? podcast. Users with these flairs received an icon and a colored name, matching the similar-tier colors given to DGG subscribers. As of July 2025, Anything Else no longer has the 5 subscriber tiers (similar to DGG subs), and instead only had Patreon Supporter (Formerly Tier 2, for $10USD/mo) and Gigachad Supporter (Formerly Tier 5, for $100/mo), the two new levels use the old Tier 2 and Tier 5 icons and colours, respectively. The flairs were later removed entirely sometime around September 2025.

VIP	Very Important Person. Was mostly given to the moderators of DGG chat but has since been replaced with the similarly colored Moderator flair.

League Master	Icon is deprecated and removed. Formerly given to on stream personalities that joined during Leage of Legend Queues. Currently a unique role for Destiny.gg Head Moderator Bing.
Twitch Subscriber	Icon is deprecated. Removed shortly after Destiny had been banned from the platform.

Older Renditions

Minecraft VIP	Icon is deprecated. Was given to people who had special perms on the old DGG Minecraft Server.
StarCraft 2	Icon is deprecated. Formerly given to chatters for their expertise on the game.
Composition Winner	Icon is deprecated. Winner of one of the many Composition Challenges.
Contributor	Icon is deprecated.
Emote Contributor	Icon is deprecated.
Trusted	Icon is deprecated.
Notable	A notable chatter. Mostly utilized pre-2022 for chatters who would frequently come on stream. (e.g. RemTheBathBoi)
Twitch Subscriber	Icon is deprecated.

Ban Dodge Chance

If an !ipban is being taken out on a chatter, there is a rare case in which the chatter might actually be able to completely dodge the ban from taking place, leaving them remained spared in the chatroom for either the attempt to be redone or the user's ban to be rescheduled.

There are multiple registered phrases for Bot available in response to these occurances, differentiating between messages in cases of flaired users or in cases of regular users. Certain flairs provide the user with an increased chance of surviving a ban, varying in percentage by rarity status of a user.

Notably, Gym flairs have a 50% chance to survive any ban, giving rise to the inside joke that gym flairs are the only true critics of Destiny.

Notable examples:

• On the 4th of September 2023, gym flair chatter Jakobokaj [Rustle] survived five ipbans in a row before finally being sent to the Shadow Realm.

The highest percentage goes to the Birthday flair , giving the user who has it an 80% chance of evading a ban they could potentially be facing.

Notable examples:

• On the 24th of March 2026, Hamster_Hawk [Rustle] was found violating the DGG Code of Conduct by linking multiple illegal movie streams to the public chatroom. Eventually once Bing got aware of his messages and attempted to ban him, Hamster_Hawk was able to dodge 4 ipbans through his flair. It should be noted that even due to Bing's history with Hamster_Hawk and the habit of other moderators trolling him with the relation, Hamster_Hawk was not granted any additional protections at the time of his ban.

Significantly, the percentages for every flair doesn't vary between bans initiated by Moderators or Administrators.
